Atlas of Bone Scintigraphy in the Developing Paediatric Skeleton

The intention of this publication is to provide structured information about the maturation and normal appearance of the skeleton from infancy to adulthood. It is hoped that this work will contribute to enhance understanding of the dynamic process of naturally occurring metabolic changes, which will, in turn, improve the quality of reporting of paediatric bone scans. As the majority of paediatric bone scintigrams are interpreted by non-paediatric nuclear physicians, the availability of this reference atlas should improve the care of children.

This publication is currently under review so it should be consider as a draft version of the final publication which is not available yet in the IAEA publications site.
