| Method Title |
Liquid Chromatography/Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometric (LC/APCI/MS) Confirmation of Ivermectin, Doramectin and Moxidectin. |
| Method Date |
2011/03/31 |
| Method Type |
Confirmatory, Quantitative |
| Scope and Application |
The method may be suitable for confirming presence of the anthelmintics Doramectin, Ivermectin and Moxidectin in liver and muscle (as well as their processed products) of bovine, ovine, porcine, caprine and equine species. |
| Method Summary |
A determinative method (CLG-AVR) is used to extract samples using acetonitrile followed by purification using a C8 solid phase extraction (SPE) and an alumina-B SPE cartridge prior to LC analysis. The purified extract is analyzed by injecting into an LC/APCI mass spectrometer. A C-18 waters Nova-Pak column is used to separate analytes. |
| Applicable Concentration Range |
Doramectin, Ivermectin and Moxidectin may be confirmed and quantified at the concentration level ≥ 25µgkg-1 using this method. |
