Gray
|
Gray is the adopted S.I unit to represent the absorbed dose of ionizing radiation instead of Rad and Rontgen. 1 Gray represents 1 joule per kilogram of matter undergoing irradiation. Thus 1 Gray = 100 rad and 1kiloGray (KGy) is 100 kilorad.
