Joint ICTP-IAEA Advanced Workshop on Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Radiocarbon Dating for Heritage and Forensic Sciences

This workshop provided an advanced training and information exchange platform, reviewing the state-of-the-art in the area of analysis with the emphasis on the newest development and trends. 

Novel applications, guidelines, protocols to improve radiocarbon dating were presented, as well as several case studies in the field of heritage and forensics sciences. 

Poster session, site visit of Sincrotrone Elettra and University of Venice was part of school agenda.​



23 participants from 16 Member States as well as 10 lecturers attended the Workshop
