The Radiation Safety Standards Committee (RASSC) is a standing body of senior representatives in the area of radiation safety established to make recommendations on the IAEA’s programme for the development, review and revision of radiation safety standards and on activities to support the use and application of these standards. RASSC provides feedback and recommendations to the IAEA on its radiation safety programme and on areas for improvement, with a view to achieving greater transparency, consensus, quality, coherence and consistency in the development of IAEA safety standards.

How to use the RASSC Members' Area

  • All documents relevant to RASSC meetings (excluding drafts) are posted in the Meeting Documents library.
  • All drafts that are available to Committee members for comment are posted in the RC Drafts for Comment library. To post comments on a draft, you need to login with your Nucleus username and password.
  • Comments can be uploaded by clicking on the link next to the draft, or on the 'Upload RC Draft or Comments' button at the top of the page. Please note that all comments will appear against a draft number, rather than against a specific version of the draft, a comment resolution table or another comment.
  • The template comment form is available here and can be downloaded for use.
  • Once discussion on a draft has closed, all related documents will be moved to the RC Drafts Archive library.
