Mammals: Acute oral LD50 for male rats 6200, mice 5300 mg/kg. Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >5000, mice 9000-9600 mg/kg. Non-irritating to skin and eyes (rabbits). In 2-year feeding trials, no-effect level for rats and mice was 30 mg/kg diet. No reproductive, teratogenic or mutagenic effects observed in rats. Fish: LC50 (48 hours) for carp 1.7 mg/l.
