Venue and Visa

 

The workshop will take place at the LAON Convention Hotel, which is about 15 minutes by car from the National Fusion Research Institute. The address is:
545-7 Bongmyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, Republic of Korea, and the nearest airport to the hotel is Incheon International Airport (Jung-gu, Incheon, Republic of Korea).

Upon arrival at the airport, there are two possible ways to reach the workshop venue: 

• To take the limousine bus from the airport to Daejeon-Cheongsa (Daejeon Government Complex) (the bus leaves every 20–30 minutes and the journey takes about two and a half hours), and from there to reach the destination via taxi (10 minutes). The total transfer duration is about three hours.
• To take the KTX train from the airport to Daejeon station (the journey takes about two hours), and from there to reach the destination via subway or taxi. In this case the total transfer duration is about two hours, but the interval between the KTX trains is 2–3 hours. For this reason, it is recommended to use the limousine bus service.

Two hotels will offer accommodation: the Interciti Hotel and the Yousung Hotel. Both hotels are located near the workshop venue. Additional hotels could be added. The Local Organization Committee (LOC) will help the workshop participants in the booking process.
