The GSAN team reviews the GSAN website's usage statistics and analyzes the data collected to identify any areas that may require special attention and to try to understand the needs of our visitors.
In terms of GSAN's reach, the data collected during quarter 4 (Q4) of 2013 demonstrates that the network is accomplishing its goal of being a global network. Figure 1 shows the countries from where GSAN has been accessed.
Figure 1. Visits by country and total visits in Q4 2013
During quarter 3 of 2013 (July - September), 2018
visits were recorded from around the globe (click here to view last quarter's report
). Compared to that period of time, GSAN has improved in terms of the amount of visits to the site. This is good news, illustrating the steady increase in interest on nuclear safety assessment topics.
On the other hand, user engagement has seen a reduction with the average visit duration having slightly decreased. The GSAN team will work to improve user engagement by providing new content and multimedia material periodically.
Please help us to achieve GSAN's goal to serve as a resource for information on nuclear safety assessment, providing news, multimedia content and documents of interest by filling out our short survey. We appreciate your valuable feedback and comments!
