VIC Medical Service Immunization Day – 30 April 2024
In the context of World Immunization Week (24-30 April), VIC Medical Service (VMS) is holding a vaccination campaign to help staff keep their immunizations up to date and thus be protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
The campaign will take place in the Rotunda on 30 April 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A wide range of vaccines will be available during the campaign. Click here for a full list of vaccine types, as well information about prices, indications and contraindications.
If you are unsure whether your immunization status is up to date, please bring your International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card or booklet), if available, and consult VMS staff on site.
During the event, staff members will be able to obtain a prescription from VMS for the required vaccine(s) and purchase it directly from the VIC pharmacy which will also be in the Rotunda. The vaccine will then be administered by VMS staff.
Please note that the combined diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis (DTPP) vaccination is offered free of charge to all staff. All other vaccinations are provided free of charge only for purposes of official travel (proof such as Travel Request required). Vaccinations for private purposes can be purchased from the VIC Pharmacy at one's own expense.
The campaign is being conducted on a walk-in basis. No pre-registration or appointment is needed.
Please also note that during this campaign, vaccines will be given only to staff members, consultants and interns of VBOs. Vaccines will not be available to dependents during the campaign however the vaccination list provides details of where these vaccinations may be available.
Don't miss the chance to protect yourself!
