Still on-going:
Get tested: From 15 to 19 November, staff can take a free fasting blood sugar test at VIC Medical Services. The test can be taken in Room F-0781 (near the Pharmacy) from 8:30 – to 9:30 and 11:00 – to 12:00. By taking a small drop of blood from your fingertip after an overnight fast, VMS staff will be able to measure your blood sugar levels on the spot and advise on follow up actions if required. In case, you have not fasted, VMS will take this into account when interpreting result. To sign up for the test please click here.
Know your risk: The International Diabetes Federation has created an online diabetes risk assessment that helps you predict your risk of developing type 2 diabetes in the next ten years. The test takes only a couple of minutes to complete, and it is available in several languages. Click here to take the test.
Keep well.
