Depending on the event type, the event application form and review and approval roles will vary.
Events organized under the technical cooperation (TC) programme entail a two-stage review process:
- Initial endorsement by the designated TC project counterpart (PCP)
- Final country approval by the designated TC country approver (NLO/NCR/NLA)
Events organized as scientific and technical meetings, including conferences and symposia, entail a single-stage review process:
- Immediate country approval by the designated Registration Focal Point (RFP) upon application submission by the prospective candidate.
Designated PCPs for TC projects should refer below to “Reject as Counterpart” whereas RFPs/ NLOs/NCRs and NLAs should refer to “Reject as Country Approver/RFP”
