The AGR stations list below were originally built by the Central Electricity Generating Board, and were taken over by Nuclear Electric as part of the privatization of the UK Electricity Supply Industry in 1989, though remaining in public ownership at that time.

In 1996, the AGR and PWR assets of Nuclear Electric and Scottish Nuclear were privatized as part of British Energy.

Location:                          Bridgewater, Somerset, South West Coast of England

Hunterston B -

Location:                          South of Largs, Ayrshire, west coast of Scotland
Electrical Output:                 1190 MW

3. Hartlepool A (HRA) and Heysham A (HYA)

Hartlepool -

Location:                          South of Hartlepool, North East Coast of England

Electrical Output:                 1210 MW

Built:                                      1969 – 1984

Start of Generation:             1^st August 1983

Decommissioning Date:      2014

Heysham A -

Location:                          South of Morecambe, North West Coast of England

Electrical Output:                 1150 MW

Built:                                      1970 – 1983 (Reactor 1) 1970 – 1984 (Reactor 2)

4. Heysham B (HYB) and Torness

Location:                          West of Lancaster, North West Coast of England

Electrical Output:                 1250 MW

Torness -

Location:                          Near Dunbar, East Lothian, East Cost of Scotland

Electrical Output:                 1250 MW

Built:                                       1980 – 1988

5. Dungeness B

Dungeness B -

Location:                          Romney Marsh, Kent, South East Coast of England

Electrical Output:                 1110 MW
