The 8th INPRO Dialogue Forum brings together nuclear technology holders and nuclear technology users and other stakeholders from interested Member States to discuss the roles of economics, resource availability and institutional arrangement for the sustainable development of nuclear energy systems.
The 8th INPRO Dialogue Forum objectives:
- Present revision and updates of the INPRO Manual volumes on Economics, Environmental Impact by Depletion of Resources, and Infrastructure;
- Invite views from national experts, technology holders and international organizations on sustainability issues related to economics, resource availability and institutional arrangement as discussed in the INPRO methodology;
- Confirm the validity of the INPRO assessment method for different types of nuclear energy systems in the area of Economics, Environmental Impact by Depletion of Resources, and/or Infrastructure;
- Harmonize the INPRO methodology with other approaches by international experts and organizations
The meeting is an activity under the IAEA TC Project INT2017 "Capacity building in long-range strategic nuclear energy planning for global sustainability".
